Meet Our Staff!

Melanie Brewer started with Vision Solutions in 1999 when the practice was Swearingen and Burton.

Originally trained as a receptionist, Melanie has pursued training and now has experience working in optical dispensing and as an optical technician. She has been a Certified Paraoptometric Technician since 2011 and has completed all levels of certification.

Melanie enjoys learning about vision therapy and daily seeks new knowledge in her field of practice. She is currently the Clinical Director at Vision Solutions, tasked with leading and encouraging the staff towards continuing education and certification.

In her time away from the office, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and summers at the lake. She recently celebrated her 1 year anniversary with husband Brian Brewer. Together they have 5 children and 8 grandchildren.
