Vision Solutions has had another great year of progress and growth!
Serving Lamar since 1969, Vision Solutions also has offices in Nevada and Stockton. In addition to serving patients in these communities over the last year, we’ve enjoyed welcoming another experienced doctor, celebrating advanced certifications, and finding new ways to serve those in need.
Introducing Dr. Orson
Last fall, Vision Solutions welcomed Dr. Orson, OD to the practice. With over 23 years of experience in the field of medicine and private practice, his areas of clinical interest include primary medical eye care, glaucoma, and children’s vision. He is a proud member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Missouri Optometric Association (MOA), and is licensed to examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures as well as identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye for patients in Missouri and Kansas.
Dr. Orson is currently accepting new patients at Vision Solutions in Nevada. He is available for appointments, preventative care, medical care, and ongoing patient care. Dr Orson looks forward to providing you with excellent vision and eye care!
Certifications And Continuing Education
Throughout 2017, four additional staff members received Certified Para Optometric (CPO) certifications and all staff receives ongoing continuing education. Attendance at the Heart of America Optometric Convention in Kansas City provided excellent advanced training for all staff present. Thus far in 2018, Dr Erica Burton and twelve staff members attended SECO International Education for Optometry in Atlanta, Georgia, receiving as many as 18 hours each of continuing education and training. Vision Solutions is committed to expertise in the newest and best practices for your vision care, diagnosis, and treatment.
Giving Back To Our Community
Vision Solutions is always looking for new ways to serve our communities. This year, the community helped us to provide school supplies to 18 area school districts though our School Supply Drive. Dr Erica Burton also supplied over 60 vouchers for free eye exams through the school districts specifically for students without vision insurance who would not have otherwise received an exam. We value our community and seek to serve you well!
We love thanking our patients with our annual Frame Extravaganza which will be held again this year on May 1st. During the Frame Extravaganza, Vision Solutions provides refreshments while loyal patients shop an expanded selection of frames with the assistance of styling experts who are in our office for one day only. This special “thank you” event is always fun and exciting with prizes and discounts for everyone in attendance!
